Cyber Defense Analyst InstructorKey Role:Develop and deliver a variety of training programs to live audiences. Provide stand-up classroom instruction. Apply specific functional and working general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, as needed. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees, if needed.Basic Qualifications:Experience with defensive cyber operationsKnowledge of counter-measure analysis, including identifying malicious activity and intrusion set activitiesKnowledge of network and system artifacts to identify potential malicious activityKnowledge of tactics, techniques, and procedures for intrusion set activitiesKnowledge of defense host analysis or defensive network analysisKnowledge of cybersecurity risks and warning analysisAbility to develop, maintain, and administer coursewareTS/SCI clearanceHS diploma or GEDDoD 8570 IAT Level II CertificationAdditional Qualifications:Knowledge of encryption technologies, topologies, phishing techniques, Wireshark, and SnortKnowledge of Industry Standard Professional Certification programsKnowledge of computer security concepts and best practices, and information and cybersecurity operation, governance, assurance, and complianceBachelor's degreeSecurity+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
