Job Description:
OverviewTo design, develop, implement, and maintain new IT
solutions on a modern technology stack. This role will focus on
building SpringBoot based microservices within our Azure cloud. The
ideal candidate for this role has experience with Azure Dev Ops,
Agile methodologies, and building services that are both scalable
and secure. Daily work may include coding, working with horizontal
teams, and ensuring documentation is up to date.This position is

comprehensive day-to-day oversight for assigned Navy Federal
systems in compliance with NFCU standards, processes and procedures
following the System Development Life-cycle (SDLC) or applicable
Agile MethodologyIdentifies, analyzes, designs, develops and
maintains cost-effective information technology solutions that
align with business initiatives and corporate strategiesAnalyzes,
defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical
processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interfaces
with other systems, internal and external controls and
outputDevelop system software code using commonly known best
practices. Willing to adhere to NFCU standards and policies
regarding software developmentIdentifies and resolves conflicts
between proposed solutions and existing systems to ensures
compatibilityResponsible for ensuring the security and integrity of
all NFCU systemsResponsible for ensuring the maximum performance
and availability of designed system solutionsContributes to the
preparation, execution and documentation of development tests and
evaluationsResponsible for the preparation and maintenance of all
project documentation in accordance with the Systems Development
Life-Cycle (SDLC) phasesEnsures all revisions and refinements of
software account for all changes in functional system requirements
and equipment configurations that may occur during the product
life-cycleResponsible for the implementation of
systems/applications into test and production environments.
Prepares implementation plans and change requests required for
system migrationCollaborate with peers at all levels of software
engineers through the software development life-cycleProvide
technical support to customers during software warranty
periodResponsible for consistent, concise, relevant, reliable and
timely information to all appropriate internal and external
stakeholders through a variety of communication channelsWill be
tasked with the Developer role of a project with the responsibility
of full software life-cycle development from requirements analysis
to project closeoutWorks independently, regularly communicating
with project stakeholders on project progress and statusApplies
specific functional knowledge to analyze and resolve the
highest-level of difficult project-related issuesCapable of
designing, coding, debugging and maintaining the highest level of
difficult computer programsAble to communicate complex technical
concepts to technical and non-technical personnelCommunicates
information in line with the target audience experience,
background, and expectations; uses terms, examples, and analogies
that are meaningful to the audienceProactively accumulate and
maintain knowledge of current and emerging/evolving technologies,

from project workPerforms root cause analysis to quickly identify

assignedQualificationsBachelors degree in Information Systems
Technology, Computer Science or relevant experienceEight (8) years
of advanced experience and programming knowledge in Java 8+, Spring
BootFive (5) years of advanced experience in Microservices, Spring
Cloud, Spring SecurityFive (5) years of advanced
experience/knowledge in Web API and RESTful services API
developmentFive (3) years of experience with Azure App Services,
AKS, cloud deploymentThree (3) to five (5) years of advanced
experience/knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and
Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) conceptsExperience with XML and
JSONExpert experience/knowledge of the Systems Development
Life-cycle (SDLC) or Agile Scrum methodologyAdvanced
experience/knowledge in systems, workflow and procedural
analysisDemonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, and organize
tasksDemonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
skillsEffective research, analytical and problem solving
skillsEffective skills in resolving conflicting requests and
meeting changing requirementsEffective Skill in using Microsoft
